Jaipur Rugs is a global luxury brand and social enterprise uniting traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. With a network of 40,000+ artisans, mostly women, it creates handmade carpets while driving inclusive livelihoods.
What began with two looms and nine artisans has grown into a people-led movement connecting over 40,000 artisans across 600 villages in five Indian states to markets in more than 60 countries. At its heart lies a simple belief: dignity and opportunity must reach even the most remote artisan. Because as women rise, entire communities benefit through stronger local economies, reduced distress migration, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
The Jaipur Rugs Foundation disrupts this imbalance by building a transparent, fair-trade ecosystem that directly connects village artisans to global markets, ensuring consistent work, fair wages, and economic security.
