THE STORY BEHIND THIS PRODUCT
'Insect Text & Stamp Collection' - For those who can read the marks they leave and for those of us still to learn.
The entomological library of Daphne the dung beetle houses the scroll of insect texts, scriptures, and an impossibly rare stamp collection. What does it say? I don’t know; I can’t read Caterpillar. But this is amazing, I have never seen a library of books for ants and morphing butterflies. Ask the librarian for help. I can’t, she’s a tortoise. Oh please, surely, she can help. She’s not even blinking. Well at least she’s sticking her neck out for us. Sometimes the most important findings are the smallest and we still don’t know how to read the signs. Of all the markings left by dung beetles, and flying bugs, we have yet to stop and listen to their stories. We feel the same way about textiles. Very few can read the in-and-out motions of darning our realities in these textiles texts of where we have come from and how we wish to be seen.
