THE STORY BEHIND THIS PRODUCT
A perfectly flawed composition of potted coral woven into view. In this work, we tried blowing up the micro and placing it on the mantel piece for all to see.
Picked up pieces of life morphed into life above the water; Twisted and evolving for years, only to stretch out one day in full bloom and be picked unceremoniously and placed in a vessel, and left to dry out and hold court with the rest of the collection of matter.
We double framed this piece: Once in its own textile border and the second time in wood and silk. Maybe this way of making will change your approach, allowing you to stop and find these little dots worthy of your wonder. Tiny spots here and then there, so that instead of going to the common, you bring the common to you.
