THE STORY BEHIND THIS PRODUCT
If a kid had to sketch her history lesson, what crayon would she choose and what stories would she morph into daily happenings?
She reaches for the blue Bic pen and traces her version of prehistoric fossil findings. Vis krokodil is born without scales, but very soon she has a gold tooth and because she looks so lonely unearthed and bare, it is decided that she needs a birthday party.
With that, the cake is baked and the apricot crayon is vigorously mushed back and forth to achieve the icing piping of dreams. Yum! It’s a children´s storybook about the Karoo, its creatures, the dust fall that came before us and will surely settle long after we have left our marks.
Vis Krokodil, Rosie Rubigia looks at the muggies circling the overripe plums and plants her birthday wishes under the droom boom (who, unfortunately for Rosie Rubigia, is out getting her monthly pedicure). A dream planted, but waiting for Godot.
